14A Half-Way point

  1. To keep up with this course all I've needed to do is have better time management skills. I've created a strict schedule to follow for the remainder of the semester that gives me the best chance for success in all my classes and outside goals.
  2. For this class I've never felt like giving up but I am also taking Calculus II right now and bombed the first exam which didn't sit well with me. I knew I'd have to do better if I wanted to stay in the class. I kept a positive attitude as it was only the first exam and I'll have 3 more to prove myself.
  3. Create reminders to do the work on time? & If you have extra free time, try to work ahead in the class and with your idea? & Don't think of the assignments as busy work because then you'll gain nothing from it?

  1. Gavin,
I think that developing a schedule and time management skills is essential to this course and all online courses, especially when you have more than one online course. It is also essential to practice self discipline and actually stick to the schedule that you set, I find that following through with my schedule is sometimes the hardest part of this course for me.

  2. Gavin, keeping a schedule for this class is extremely important in my opinion, as I try to do the same thing to make sure I'm getting everything done on time. Sometimes I find that devoting one or two days a week to making sure your getting all the coursework done to work the best, and I think your plan to stick to a concrete schedule for the rest of the semester is a great plan toward gaining even more success.
